Danny Brab is a singer acoustic guitarist from Manchester, based in Trentham. Starting as a teenage busker in Bury Market subway and on Market Street in Manchester, he then spent 9 months playing daily to crowds gathered by the Cathedral in Antwerpen, Belgium. Danny has now been playing for around 25 years and has played alongside acts such as Liam Fray (Courteeners), Slow Readers Club, the Wombats, Bluetones, Tony Wright (Terrorvision) and the Fall. Danny won a national songwriting award for his university (MBF Songwriting Awards 2005) and was also the writer of a BBC 6 Music single of the week (Generation/Optional Wallace - "It's Brilliant. listen to it!" Steve Lamacq). After a long break to pursue his day job career, Danny is very much enjoying breaking back into the business of music performance.
